  • BPUB Receives Recognition for Electric System Reliability in 2015

    The Brownsville Public Utilities Board (BPUB) has received national recognition for achieving exceptional electric reliability in 2015. The recognition comes from the American Public Power Association (APPA) – a trade group in Washington, D.C., that represents more than 2,000 not-for-profit, community-owned electric utilities, such as BPUB.

  • Some BPUB Customers to Experience Water Service Interruption

    The Brownsville Public Utilities Board (BPUB) announces there will be a water service interruption Thursday, Feb. 25, from 10 p.m. until approximately 8 a.m. Friday, Feb. 26, as crews install a fire hydrant and new valves. The service interruption will affect more than 300 customers.
